This Safari will give you a feel of two of Ugandas Wild Parks, with this you are assured of viewing a number of animals which include the the Bigfives, the chance too see the Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi, Giraffes, and Antelope herds in Murchison falls, Chimpanzees in Budongo forest with in 6 days!
DAY1: Transfer to Ziwa Sanctuary for Rhino trekking
On this day, you will be met by our driver guide and set off for the drive from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Along the way to Murchison falls national park, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big five mammals as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls National park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot! You will have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation time at this lodge located in the middle of the jungle and you can as well have a short self-guided nature walk around. You will have dinner and overnight at Amuka Lodge
DAY2: Travel to Murchison falls National Park – Visit the top of Murchison Falls and wildlife view in the evening
After breakfast at your pace, you will be picked by our company representative and kick start this day’s nature adventure with an exciting road trip to Murchison falls National Park. Upon arrival inside the park, you will be amazed by the beautiful landscape while occasionally sighting warthogs and other wildlife while on a drive to the top of the falls whose views are breathe taking. About 300 – 400 cubic meters per second of Nile water force through a tiny gorge of about 7 meters to plunge into a violent tempest in a whirlpool about 42 meters below. It is such a beautiful sight with incredible picture moments here. Drive to the lodge as you view wild animals en route. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge
DAY3: Game Drive through the park and Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile and transfer to Budongo
After your early morning breakfast, our driver guide together picks you up for the early game drive. Explore the major game trails especially around the area of Paraa for good game spotting including lots of Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Antelopes, Jackals, Hyenas, and Uganda Kobs, Waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests and hopefully the elusive Leopards among others.
Later on, you will have lunch and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time. Later we set out for the afternoon Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile which is the high spot of any Murchison Falls Safari for you get to spot lots of animals at a close encounter. You will have to spot lots of hippos, Nile crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, and many other animals that come to drink water, refresh and cool themselves off the scorching sun and some animals to eat the fresh grass along the river banks. Later drive to Budongo forest for dinner and overnight at Budongo Eco Lodge
DAY4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Fort portal town
After breakfast leave for Chimpanzee trekking within Budongo forest takes approximately 3 to 5 hours. Budongo forest is as well known for its special Mahogany tree species which are very tall. In addition there are numerous primates including the forest galago, red-tailed monkeys, potto as well as blue monkey, in addition to several bird species like the yellow-footed eye catcher and the white-thighed hornbill. Immediately after lunch you will start your journey to Fort Portal town along the way you will see beautiful landscape sceneries through the window. Dinner and overnight Fort Motel Fort Portal
DAY5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Start your day with a tasty breakfast and check-out from the lodge and start off your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. A lot will be enjoyed on this thrilling journey including the scenery in Kabale. You will have a stop to take photo if there is need as you continue to Bwindi arriving late evening. Proceed and check in at the lodge, have dinner before you sleep you could opt for an evening forest walk where you will be able to see some bush babies (this is based on the accommodation facility you are using). Thereafter return to the lodge and rest since you will be having a long interesting tomorrow. Dinner and overnight Gorilla Mist Camp
DAY6: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On this day, be early to raise and have your breakfast early enough and pack your lunch, after which you will be taken to the park headquarters by your driver guide. You will have a briefing from the Park rangers at 8:00am concerning the rules in the park, what to do and not to do when you meet up with the gorillas. Tracking Gorillas takes between 2 and 8 hours. Thereafter, you will start off with tracking ensure you carried enough drinking water, strong shoes, a jacket and a walking stick. When you meet up the gorillas it’s your dream come true as it will be a great time watching the playful juveniles, the silver backs and also other gentle giants feed the young ones. Take as much photos as you want with your camera flash off. Later head back to your lodge and rest.
In the evening you could choose to still stay and relax at the lodge or take an evening walk through the Batwa community, this will give you chance to interact with these people, learn how they live and also watch them perform their traditional dances and songs. DAY7: Transfer back to Kampala via the Equator
After having breakfast, start on the drive back to Entebbe/Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain Apes. You will have a stopover at the equator line, Lunch en route, arriving late in the evening to be dropped at your point of drop off such as airport, hotel, home etc.
