On your arrival at Entebbe international airport (EBB), you will be met by a Yala safaris staff that will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. You can have an optional city tour depending on your time of arrival. Dinner and overnight stay at Acactus Hotel
Early morning, the driver will pick you from your hotel and brief you before heading out to Kitgum which is in the northern part of Uganda. Along the way you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big five mammals as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls and Kidepo National parks. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot. You will have lunch at the sanctuary

After breakfast drive northwards through Lira in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and Inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners. On arrival in the park, you will check in, relax a bit and have lunch. Later go for an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest and possibly Lions. You will meet our professional driver guide at your Hotel in Gulu town and drive southwards to Murchison Falls National park reaching in afternoon at your hotel for lunch. After an early morning warm up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like: Lions, Giraffes, Oribis, Elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, Buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; crocodiles, hippos, in the water and some on the river banks, while; buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. After a healthy breakfast, you will be transfer to Kibale forest National Park, the capital world of Primates such as chimpanzee, baboons and monkeys. With en-route lunch meals. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for relaxation. Later in the day you shall transfer to the Bigodi Wetlands, situated on the eastern edge of the forest. There you shall take a light walk in the wetlands to observe plenty of wildlife including birds and many monkey species. You will retire for the day at Lake Nkuruba Campsite
Assemble at the park headquarters for briefing and then go for the most popular activity in this park which is Chimpanzee tracking. Chimpanzees are man’s closet cousins though they are one of the most threatened primate’s species. More primates like Black and white Columbus monkeys, L’Hoest Monkeys, Grey cheecked Mangabey, Red tailed monkeys, bush babies, pottos and many bird species like the yellow spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, Little greenbul, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle, black bee eater and mammals like Elephants can be seen in this trek. Early in the morning after breakfast set off for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi area where you are be able to see a lot of animal species such as the Elephants, lions, buffaloes etc. Return for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon you will embark on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. You will be treated to an awesome sight of elephant herds, buffaloes, antelopes, and thousands of birds. Not forgetting that the channel has the highest concentration of hippos in Uganda. This short channel of water is a needlepoint of nature. The slow boat ride from Mweya into Lake Edward and George is an experience that many who have been there, would like to repeat. Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the southern part of this park. This area is known for its tree-climbing lions.
In Ishasha we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with Topis, Uganda Kobs, Cape Buffalos and the African Elephants plus to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. After breakfast, you will drive to Ishasha side of Queen Elizabeth National park for your morning game drive. Ishasha is popular for tree climbing lions and chances of seeing them climbing depends on your luck of the day. Ishasha has other animals like Buffaloes, Elephants, Antelopes and many others. Return to the Lodge for Lunch and later transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. You will be amazed by the terraced hills of Kigezi and the ever green forest of Bwindi with mist. Early morning breakfast and proceed to the briefing point. Enjoy the highlight of your trip – Gorilla trekking, which may last from 2 to 6 hours depending on the group you are visiting. We trek through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide and other trackers, in search of a mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten. Due to the nature of the activity, you will have packed lunch. After Gorilla trekking, you will drive through the terraced hills to Lake bunyonyi.
