DAY1: Arrival at Entebbe and transfer to your hotel

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport (EBB), you will be met by our professional safaris staff that will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. You can have a tour around Entebbe town to see the craft shops, shopping malls or Entebbe botanical gardens depending on your time of arrival. Dinner and overnight stay at Sheraton Hotel Kampalaas you wait for your next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Explore Kampala city

This detour will let you explore Kampala city’s major tourist centers most of which are centered on cultural, political and religious history. Below are among the places to be visited

• Kabaka’s Palace at BulangeMengo and Former Amin torture chambers.
• Namugongo Martyr’s Shrine:
• Uganda Museum
• Gaddafi Mosque
• Rubaga and Namirembe cathedral
• Craft village
• And possibly to either Ndere cultural centre or any night club to explore Kampala’s night life.

You will have dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel Kampala

Day3: Jinja Source of the Nile, Kakira sugar plantations and visiting schools, local markets

On this day, set off from Kampala and drive to the eastern town of Kakira which is popular for its Sugarcane plantations and processing. En route, you will visit the source of River Nile. You can possibly have a tour to this sugar cane factory. Later in the day, you can visit primary and secondary schools which will be determined a night before or that day in the morning depending on accessibility and time. If you have something to donate, you can give it out to these rural schools. You will arrive at Jinja in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Kingfisher Resort

Day4: Kakira-visiting schools, local markets and Bugembe palace

On this day, set off from your hotel and have guided tour with a local guide through the local schools around Kakira, Magagama and Musita. You can have a tour to the capital of the Busoga region and get to know about the history and culture of the basoga people at the King’s Palace station at Bugembe. If time allows, a tour in the local markets around Jinja town and see the old buildings of the former industrial capital of Uganda! You will have dinner and overnight at Kingfisher Resort

Day 5: Source of the River Nile, Sipi Falls & Mountain Elgon Coffee Tour

After an early breakfast we shall proceed to visit the Source of the River Nile arrive at the exact spot where the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria for a boat ride. Later we will proceed to Sipi Falls. Lunch enroute. After lunch we will tour Masaba Coffee of Mount Elgon Area, this tour will enrich you with more insight of the whole process of the coffee from the End to the Beginning. Community fields right to the packaging and export. From here it will be coming to evening then we will set off to

proceed to Sipi Falls, near Mount Elgon arrive and check in to your accommodation which is in the vicinity of Sipi Falls. Refreshments will be served later meal plans dinner and overnight at the Sipi River Lodge.

Day 6: PISWA CAMP

After a hearty breakfast we will transfer you to Kapkwata at 2190 meters, from where you will start your hike, following the Kapkwata Trail. It is a scenic route running through the bamboo, heath and moor land, arriving at the Piswa Camp at 2850 meters. Dinner and camping at Piswa Hut Campsite.

Day 7: HUNTERS CAVE CAMP

Hike up to the rim of the caldera through beautiful columns of the most rare and endemic plant species like the giant Lobelia Elgonensis. And of course a visit to the slopes of Mount Elgon can’t go without finding the wild Everlasting flowers. Visit the hot springs and Suam Gorge before descending to the Hunters Cave Camp at 3850 meters. Dinner and camping at Hunters Cave Camp.

Day 8: MUDE CAVE CAMP

Morning breakfast, then ascend to the top of the caldera to the Wagagai Peak at 4321 meters. Descend thereafter through the Jackson summit (4200 meter) and the Jackson pool to arrive at Mude Cave Camp at 3500 meters. Dinner and camping at Mude Cave Camp

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe via Sezibwa falls and Mabira forest

Early morning, descend through the Sasa trail to Budadiri and then travel back to Mbale town and transfer to Entebbebut the Road trip will involve a stopover at Ssezibwa falls and through the Mabira Rain Forest as the road transects through the forest. Upon arrival, you can have a visit to any of the beaches in Entebbe. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Victoria Hotel

Day 10: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park-Do a game drive

Our guide will pick you and direct you to Entebbe Airport for your internal flight to Murchison Falls National Park landing at Pakuba Airstrip. Upon landing, our guide/vehicle will transfer you by road to your respective overnight Lodge. After lunch and a short rest, you will then go for an evening game drive in search for savannah wild game and depending on your luck, you may spot several animals which may include, herds of buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and big cats like lions and leopards. Return to your lodge of overnight at PaKuba Safari Lodge

Flight time: One and half hours.

Day 11: Morning Game drive, boat cruise and Visit the top of Murchison Falls

After breakfast at 6 00 hours, head out to explore the major game trails especially in the northern part of the park for good game spotting including lots of Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Antelopes, Jackals, Hyenas, and Uganda kobs, Waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests and hopefully the elusive Leopards among others. You will drive to Paraa Lodge at 11 00 hours for lunch and later at 14 00 hours we set out for a 3 hours’ afternoon Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls which is the high spot of any Murchison Falls Safari for you get to spot lots of animals at a close encounter. You will have to spot lots of hippos, Nile crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, and many other animals that come to drink water, refresh and cool themselves off the scorching sun and some animals to eat the fresh grass along the river banks. You will walk to the top of the falls whose sightings are breath taking. About 300 – 400 cubic meters per second of Nile water force through a tiny gorge of about 7 meters to plunge into a violent tempest in a whirlpool about 42 meters below. It is such a beautiful sight with incredible picture moments here. After the hike at 17 00 hours’ drive to your lodge where you will arrive in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge

Day 12: Fly back to Entebbe and board the return flight

After breakfast and if you are booked on the morning scheduled internal flight, you will transfer to Pakuba Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe. If you are booked on an afternoon flight, you may choose to do a game drive before flying back to Entebbe, to later be transferred to Kampala for an overnight at Sheraton Hotel Kampala

Day 13 and 14: Relax at Kampala Sheraton Hotel

On the last day, you we assume you will be transferred to Entebbe airport to board your international flight back home
