Day 1: Arrive to Kigali city and transfer to the hotel

Day 2: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi national park and batwa experience
This day starts with your driver guide picking you up from your hotel in Kigali and embarking on an exciting road drive to the extreme South western Uganda. A stopover for lunch will be made en route. The dense rainforest of Bwindi, famous for its gorilla population, is one of the most fertile and rich in the world, being home to a variety of primates, plants, and topical birds. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will go for the Batwa community encounter which takes you to meet the original indigenous people who lived in this conservation area. They will entertain you through their cultural dance and music as well as giving you their historic stories. Day 3: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early morning breakfast, and with your picnic lunch we then take a short drive to the park offices for briefing where we meet the excellent local guides and trackers who give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. We then hike into the forest to a spot where Gorillas were seen the previous night and track from there. Trekking may take anything between 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the family and altitudes which is in excess of 7500 feet. The terrain is rough and muddy calling for physical fitness. Although the hike is physically demanding, the beauty of the forest and surrounding scenery make the trekking worthwhile. It is recommended that you take plenty of water with you on the trek. Cameras and plenty of fast speed films are recommended. Being a tropical rain forest, it may rain at no notice, hence need to bring with you waterproof clothing, including zip lock bags for cameras and film. Others to come with include; strong hiking/walkingshoes, long pants, gloves and raincoat. Later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you can participate in various optional activities if you can afford such as swimming, canoe ride, nature walks, or just have a relaxed evening with stunning views of the Lake and surrounded Islands. Day 4: Canoe ride and transfer to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park
After having breakfast at your pace, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for another lake side adventure. The canoe trek on Bunyonyi will introduce you to the major islands and their rich history, but also to a traditional healer and a craft maker who live on a peninsula with most complete views of the 25-kilometres long lake. There will be some little energetic hiking but also great time spent in traditional dugout canoes.You will later transfer the Ishasha sector in the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park, arriving in the evening. You may do an evening game drive in the Ishasha sector. You will have dinner and overnight at

Day 5: Game drive in Ishasha and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast you will be taken to Ishasha Sector, famous for the tree climbing lions lounging in the tree branches while keeping a close eye on herds of Uganda kob, their favorite prey. You could have a chance to spot some tree climbing lions after proceed to your lodge. In the afternoon you will take a Boat Cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana. Dinner and overnight at

Day 6: Morning Game drive at Queen Elizabeth and transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast you will take packed lunch and head for a another rewarding game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to increase your wildlife animal view counts and see Africa’s highly famed “Big 5”, Bush Bucks, Giant Hogs, Antelopes, Water bucks and plenty of birds. Later in the evening you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park famous for Chimpanzee trekking and also referred to as the “Primate capital of the world” as it’s a habitat to not only Chimps but also other primates as you will encounter them during the treks.Dinner and overnight at

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Kigali
Have an early morning breakfast and head tothe Forest for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. You will locate the Chimps without so much straining since the territory of each of Chimp community is known before hand by advance trackers as it will be communicated by your guides. While you trek through the forest you will observe plenty of other wildlife. Other primates which you may spot include Red Colobus Monkey, Black and white Colobus Monkey, and Vervet Monkeys. The bird lovers spot many forest species from a total of 300 bird species recorded in the forests. The trademark pant hoots and loud screams of the Chimps can be heard from a distance and will lead you to the community which you will spend no more than hour observing and following in the forest. The Chimps which will be swinging through trees with so much speed, pant hooting, slapping the tree barks and screaming to locate each other. Checkout of the lodge and have a road trip back to Kigali to be dropped at your point of call as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa with the memories of exclusive wildlife such as Chimpanzees and mountain Gorillas!
